Taiwanese-American restaurant co-owner Chris Yu returns to Taiwan to get some menu inspiration for their up-and-coming, fast-casual cafe YUMPLING, based in Queens, New York. To keep the Yumpling menu meaningful and motivated, Chris decides to explore some of Taiwan’s more classical dishes. As he travels around he witnessed the authentic masters at work, he also comes across a number of surprising stories and secrets that he can’t wait to share with his business partners back home.
